If you prepare a dish with pork lard, onion and spice peppers, you can be sure that you eat Hungarian food delicacy. The modern age dining revolutions and „trendiness” haven’t brought down the resistance of Hungarian traditions.
Pasta salad 2018-03-03
Ingredients:
500g penne (best is Barilla Mezze Penne Tricolore)
2 big pcs of tomato
4 pcs pepper (bell peppers in various colours, if possible)
2 pcs big red onions
1-2 cloves of garlic
200g Fino Trappista cheese
2,5-3 dl salad dressing
200g ham
some sprigs of parsley
Dice the tomato, bell pepper, red onion, cheese and ham to approximately 1x1 cm squares and cut the garlic and parsley to fine-cut pieces, while cooking the pasta. When the pasta is ready, rinse and drain it then stir it together with the diced vegetables and salad dressing. Serve it in bell pepper halves.
