If you prepare a dish with pork lard, onion and spice peppers, you can be sure that you eat Hungarian food delicacy. The modern age dining revolutions and „trendiness” haven’t brought down the resistance of Hungarian traditions.

Cheese salad with pumpkin seed dressing 2018-03-03

Ingredients:

  • 150g pasta shells

  •  

    400g red and green bell pepper

  •  

    300g tomato

  •  

    150g Fino Füsti smoked trappista cheese

  •  

    100g red onion

  •  

    100g deli meat

  •  

    2 dl mayonnaise

  •  

    2 dl Fino sour cream

  •  

    1 bunch of chives

  •  

    10 g powdered sugar

  •  

    10 g mustard

  •  

    3 cl lemon juice

  •  

    20g salt

  •  

    10 g white pepper

  •  

    2 cl pumpkin seed oil

Prepare the ingredients. Cook the pasta. Chop the bell pepper, tomato, cheese, red onion and deli meat to 1 cm squares. Mix the mayonnaise together with the sour cream and the listed flavourings and pour it onto the diced ingredients. Mix them together. Serve the salad in bell pepper halves.
